LUA help request - BigWigs Style.

    Sooo..
I am swapping back to Bigwigs.
Timers seem to be better atm.My issue is how do i get the desired look on the bars.
For DBM there are many premade templates that do what i want, but for bigwigs i couldn't find anything besides Quse Boss Styles.
The ss below is from Tukui blogs.
    http://www.tukui.org/forums/topic.php?id=9585
And the link to the addon is:
    https://github.com/affli/Tukui_BigWigs#readme

    This is how it looks:
    https://skitch-img.s3.amazonaws.com/...cefp53j1nw.png

I don't know how to config the files in order to use it without using Tukui.
Can anyone with lua knowledge spare some time for it to help me?

    I dont understand your question...

you posted a guide where you download an addon and voila bigwigs looks like your screenshot. So why do you wanna touch lua? Just install the addon?

Edit: Ok im stupid, you have to use TukUI.... okay i get it now I can try to find a solution later, because i want my BigWigs to look like that too!

In order for the addon to work is to have Tukui.
The guy that made it,made it to work with tukui or any Tukui edits.
    I don't use premade uis.So it won't really work.
On dbm you just had to put the DBT-Template.xml file in your DBM-Core folder,
and then the frameborder.tga file in your DBM-Core/textures folder.
But there are no premade templates for Bigwigs besides
    http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ossStyles.html
    Which is a standalone addon.

Bigwigs has built in style with tuk border, you wont get the exact layout with the icon and thin bar and text ontop of bars though.. but if you only want the tuk border style all you need to do is change the style in the config.

Most of the addon is usable without TukUI, but the problem is it loads some settings and textures from TukUI, i will do some modifications and teste when i am at home, but i dont know if it will be easy to get it to work or if i can do it at all... but i will try

    Hey,

not so easy to do for me, as i only have generel programming knowledge but no wow lua stuff >_>

This addon uses custom Frames and Frame methods for styling which are only available with tukui or (partly) elvui.

Here is the farthest i got with elvui

Still looks like shit, because all the width and stuff come from tukui normally. I dont think its possible to easily modify it, it would be easier to do it again from scratch i guess.

It may be easier but not for me ^^
The only thing i could try is to dl quse boss styles and try to mimic the code and try to add some parts from that code.
But the chances to actually make it work are preety low.
Gonna try it tonight most likely and paste the result here.
Unless if someone else that knows what he is doing is willing to do it.

You could do that, but the problem will be to get all the right borders, textures and positionings...

But i will follow this and maybe also try to mimic it a bit if possible. Its not such a difficult task to skin BigWigs if you have samples like this, but you need the knowledge of textures and positioning.
