Spine was a joke boss. The only reason it was hard was the impossible dps requirement and having to stack 90% of your dps as spriests mages and rogues.
kill tentacles -> DON'T FUCKING HIT TENTACLES -> kill amalg -> dispel whenever you feel like it -> hope you have 12 mages with legendary

i would say the vanilla patch that caused hunters to start the auto-shoot instead of going into attack stance. wiped many times the 1st couple weeks

it weas defile. no other mechanic ever invented in wow can and ever will come close. most of every other mechanic would just require less to no melee but not in that case it would require mobile dps regaurdless who you are and i do beleive flame wreath just required you to not move.

A lot of people mentioned Defile, but i think Shadow Trap was far worse in that fight. Though less likely to wipe the raid, we lost more individuals to Shadow Trap.
Felmyst's Fog of Corruption was pretty brutal too.
The most unforgiving mechanic is Fire.
WASD and all of my Razr buttons are bound to a Fireball/Pyroblast macro. The fuck am I supposed to do about Fire?
Heroic Throne of the Four Winds. Worst mechanic fights ever.
Also, H Nef platforms and Sinestra's P3 on 10 were such a pain in the ass too.
After last night I'd have to say Zian's shield. Hit it once before we're done dispelling and it's an instawipe.

I vote for Defile.I think its the only ability that made its way into a guild name.Seen at least one guild at the start of Cata named "Stands In Defile" on EU servers.
Don't know if they still exist though.
