I'll spit on his corpse after watching him die screaming.

Agreed. Garrosh made these decisions with no unnatural influence (that we know and I hope that broken record isn't the case)
Not all jerks are heroes in the end. It's certainly not true in real life and I'm tired of seeing it in the media.
This kinda goes for Varian too. He is a lot of overreacted hate and it's annoying when they try to humanize him. Varian is not as crazy evil as Garrosh though, he's just a regular jerk with too much power.
Seriously, who is telling you he isn't possessed by the Sha, influenced/possessed by a demon, corrupted by the Old Gods, you name it?
I'm really betting on Sha here, because it makes the story of MoP go full circle. Blizzard likes wrapping things up.
You know how the Aspects lost their power with the defeat of Deathwing? It didn't make sense, but they probably did it for closure. To wrap up the Aspects storyline.
The same will (probably) be done with the Sha. The story needs to finish at the end of MoP. And Garrosh has really changed. You starting to see the connection yet?
Everything about MoP needs to come together at the end for a grand finale and then it needs to be wrapped up so we can move on to the next expansion with mostly fresh story.
I think this is a case of business strategy conflicting with writers.
Edit:
Didn't we see the same in Starcraft II and Diablo 3 either? They leave options for story in expansions, but they generally like to wrap up the story started at the beginning of each game. In Starcraft II that was the Jim Raynor/Kerrigan story. In Diablo 3 it was defeating all Evil and the triumph of mortals.
I doubt all Blizzard games have the same writers. So I think it's a business strategy.

WoW already has a writer, Christie Golden:/ But I agree, writing has gone lousy. Considering the most obvious ending, Garrosh is corrupted by the Sha he tried to bind in order to advance in his war, with Vol'Jin and maybe Anduin being main lore characters against him. So, it's Groms case again (corrupted to get more power with knowledge about downsides, and somehow redeems himself), with "The betrayed one" (Vol'jin of course, I mean the first one who was appointed as an advisor for the warchief in order to make sure he won't do much bad things, and his first decision was to threaten his life and run away like a pussy) and "the good boy" (Anduin, the poster child who lacks character, said to be a savior or some cluche shit like that in a book). There again, we've got our basic "pure knight and his good friend fight a big monster".
Really, something changed much since WIII, where the story was full of twists and characters weren't just twodimensional cardboard cutouts.
And btw, I miss Cata Garrosh... What the heck happened to him between Cata and MoP is a mystery.
I'll use Raise Dead on him and make him carry me places on his back.

I truly hope the entire opposite of this happens. Garrosh is such a dick. He has been since he was focused in Wrath. Prior to that, he was a whiny bastard. Arthas had some reason to have at least a little redemption towards the end (not entirely, but enough to make him have more substance than a Saturday morning cartoon villain). Garrosh doesn't. He get's angry about everything.
He needs to die and stay dead. He insults the Horde who aren't Orcs, and rushes to pointless wars with the Alliance regardless of any peacekeeping. The sooner he's gone, the better.

I guess we just have to wait and see.
not really
Yes there was Arthas, but Arthas was part of the entity known as the Lich King
And the Lich King was anything but "a mere mortal"
But my point was, least to me, its easier to relate and understand and face against "normal" mortals, rather than crazy weird powerful entites such as the Lich King, Deathwing, or Old Gods

killing the enemies of your people....such shocking behaviour!!!
If you ask me, conquering territory is not "douchebag" behaviour, its pretty dam normal thing to do.
Civilizations have always and will always continue to do so.
The Night Elves built their kingdoms through conquest
The Panderan built their empire by waging war and destruction against the Mogu
Durotar was founded on the bones of quilbor and Centuar and whatever critters we kicked out

We have faced trials and danger, threats to our world and our way of life. And yet, we persevere. We are the Horde. We will not let anything break our spirits!"
your definition of a 'fun and normal' post seems kind of vague.
Its easy with them because despite there background and how they ended up as there were, these characters were not perceived by anyone as anything but bad guys in the end. Garrosh is in the same school as such characters, but people still pretend he has some good in him, which of course is ridiculous.

"I hated Garrosh before it was cool to do so"
Now Trassk, as much as I appriciate your hate for Garrosh, don't you think that quick death, such as choping his head off would justify for what he's done?
I should think not. He needs to be punished severely and granting him a quick death or death in heat of battle would be to his liking and an easy way out for him.

Thanks a bunch for the Signature, Cthulhu Ftagn.
I shall dance on his corpse for what he did to Kinndy <3
Nah, death is too go for him. Stick him in a pot of magma inside Ragefire Chasm until the end of time or something along these lines seems to be a better solution. =)
I think he ment something along the line of pillory or stockade for people to humilate him, before execution if he must die for his crimes.

Well, as we know with many orcs, dying a dishonorable death is the most terrible thing any of them can have. So, what if for giggles, before his death, the spirit of grom appears before Garrosh and says something along the lines of 'Garrosh, I am disappoint', causing Garrosh to cry like a baby before Varian or jaina chops his head off.

He doesn't deserve it. An honorable death is deserved for someone with honor.
