Hey, this is my first time building a computer. I have picked out my parts and just wanted to post before I actually purchase everything to make sure it's actually going to work when I try and put it together. Also if there's any parts that I'd be better off getting instead please let me know for sure!

I'd recommend that you buy a bigger psu, cause 450w won't last you. Everything else seems fine. What motherboard are you going to use?

Whoops. Thought I had that included. Brings the price up even more now.

Alright, I'll look into a better PSU.

Puts the total at around $1,042 now... Kind of feeling like this build is going way over my original budget. FU Canadian taxes.

Without an SSD I would recommend trying to get a WD Cav Black if you can afford it. Its more performance tuned rather than the every day usage blues. You core build will probably peak at about 370ish watts. The XFX will work more than likely but paying a few dollars more for a Seasonic 520 would be even better if you can afford it. On the reliability scale Seasonic is High up there along with Corsair.
