While I highly doubt "Heroes of Warcraft" would be the title for a movie and that this is connected, why would the movie need to be buried? They're obviously taking their time with a script and not rushing things. All you need is the right script, a solid director that can handle the scope of the film and the backing to properly do shooting and special effects justice.

Considering Legendary Pictures is backing the project, the same company who backed Nolan's Batman films, I'm pretty sure they're willing to pony up the appropriate budget once the proper script and director are locked down. Fortunately, this is a situation where a longer wait is a benefit. I expect Blizzard is approaching it as "do it right or don't do it at all."

But again, I highly doubt "Heroes of Warcraft" will be related to a movie of any sort. Hm, though I wouldn't mind an animated series or machinima series under that name.

One can dream. I'm thinking something Merchandise related. If you look at other things MEGA have done, I'm guessing either DieCast mini battlepacks, or it's be those weird magnet together figures that seem to line the shelfs for every franchise.

I've been dreaming of a single player action RPG Warcraft game since I first played Warcraft 2!

I would kill Odin and the other gods with my bare bearded hands and feed the sun to Fenrir for a Warcraft action RPG.

Something like Skyrim or the Witcher 2 or Kingdoms of Amalur with big stylized bold character models and environments with combat that felt something like Fable or Dark Souls with the sense of movement and slamming into stuff like Gears of War or some such other thing. Or even just a fighting game without the free roam world filled with magic and swords. Just to see Warcraft's races and characters stylized and rendered in that gorgeous level of detail that you can control without sitting back and watching them have all the fun while you just target enemies and tell them what to do.

I want to cut their heads off myself, dammit.

Blizzard All Stars looks so freaking awesome. The orc blademaster and the Starcraft dwarf models and that actual floating Titan are so fantastic, I didn't realize it was just the Starcraft 2 engine for a while. It looks better than WOW to me.
