Get the game. Its great action RPG, mature zelda feel to it and otherwise solid game too.
As for the DLC - they are "just" sidemissions(few hours more gamelife) or armor/weapons(useless and vanity?).

Also Darksiders 1 is on -75% at same time as its "big brother" is for those with "not that new computer"

    Reminder about steam sales
The sales that are not on daily or flash at the moment can go even lower.
So wait till last day before buying unless you see them on daily or flash sale.

    Examples

0% sale can go to 10-33% sale on daily/flash
25% usually goes to 50% sale on daily/flash
33% usually goes to 66% sale on daily/flash
40% usually goes to 50/66/75% sale on daily/flash
50% usually goes to 75% sale on daily/flash
75% sales cant go lower than that. If its 75% now it wont even go "lower than that" daily/flash (Has not happened before iirc. Only few games atm are 80 and even 90 sale)

Few games I suggest and approve: (* = nice story or other fun)

RPG / Action RPG / Dungeon crawlers:
    Kotor 2, *

    Action / open world-action

Deus ex games (1 and Human revolution) *
    Portal 2, left 4 dead 2, half life 2 etc..Valve games
    L.A. Noire *
    Alan wake *
    Dishonored *
    Trine games
Alice madness returns(EU players dont get it tho, its STILL 49.99 full priced while others have it dirt cheap..)
    Dishonored
    Rochard
    Psychonauts

"Cant really categorize these" sports / racing / point click /
    Jet set radio *(fun)

Well, I don’t see why women are being blamed if man is stupid enough to really think they have red and gold eyelids.

Take a look at Magicka, especially if you have the option to play this with a couple of friends. Fun game.

You get all 5 episodes. I would easily have paid 5x the money though...even though every episode is only like 2 hours. I really really enjoy it.

Hmm does anybody think Chivalry will go any lower?
33% seems as far as it will go considering it's pretty much only a month old.

Played dead island for 8 hours with a mate. Found it extremely boring to be honest. Just wack zombies some and do quests like go here or fetch that.

    Still no AC3 sale yet.

I know a number of folks who would say that's the price it should have been from the beginning.

For a five dollar game at least you'll probably be getting your money's worth. lol

AC3 isn't even released in the EU until tomorrow so it seems unlikely it would go on sale so fast.

    Rage $5
    Company of Heroes $2.50

Even if they don't turn out to be any good, for that price I think I'll give them a try.

I bought Dead Island for $10 during the last sale and I enjoyed it for a week or 2. I never got very far but I think I got my money's worth out of it. It is probably the best zombie game out there but that isn't saying a whole lot. If you like zombie games it is well worth the $7 price tag, if you aren't a zombie fan already you might want to pass.

    I have a question

If a buy steam games as a gift, can you choose the date when the gift is received to the donee. That way I could buy christmas presents now and have steam send them only on christmas.

You can add the game to your inventory and then gift it later, you can't set a scheduled date... but just keep them in your inventory and then send on the day (Click purchase as a gift and then "Store in inventory")
