I run 6700 spirit, and run int food and flask and have not had problems in normal msv and hof. I use mana tea every cooldown and try to make use of expel harm every cooldown due its cheap cost. I tend to not fistweave unless it's heavy constant aoe. I imagine once i go over 10k spirit i'll fistweave more, especially once i'm in heroic modes.
