Gamer Headset - What to choose?

    Hey ppl first thread here.

I've been looking around for a new Gamer headset since my "old" one is acting up and annoys me.
The two i've so far come to choose between, and which seems fair-priced are:

    1. Corsair Vengeance 2000
    - Seems as a very good option with good sound + it's wireless which removes the annoying element of cords getting tangled etc.
Only thing i can see which could be a problem is that i've read that the simulated surround algorithm(?) isn't supported by the newest games?

    2. Tritton AX Pro
    - Seems at least just as good though it's corded :P

(I use the headset for FPS like BO2, MW3. MMO like WoW and SWtOR. RPG like Dragon Age 1+2 and Strategy like Total War games, and ofc streamed movies and youtube vids and music)

Hope someone can help me choose the better one of them

Steelseries 7H is one of the best gaming headsets you will find. A lot of top youtubers always talk it up (Linustechtips for example).

EDIT: Ah sorry I didn't read the last line. I'll take a look now :P

Corsair, Tritton are generally very gimmicky and overpriced.
