    Build me a PC! $1000

So, I've tasked you with taking $1,000 of my not so hard earned money and build me a PC!

I've been using a laptop and feel it's time to see if I can get a decent enough machine worth the time and energy in selling the laptop and building a desktop.

    • I'm okay with building my own. Even if it is my first. It's not rocket science.
    • Aside from playing WoW (Settings - Comfortably Good, High would be nice but not necessary), it'll be used for mundane activities such as watching videos, surfing the web and messaging.
    • I have an SSD (256 m4) and an external. For now, I think you can exclude an internal HD from the cost. I barely use either up.
    • No need for an OS
    • Need a monitor, mouse and keyboard. No speakers.

    Thanks in advance!

Remove the HDD and you're able to get a decent IPS panel:

How's this setup? Don't really require the fancy keyboard and found a cheaper IPS panel with decent reviews.
