Legendary Gem Quest Clarification

So I just finnished the legendary quest with 10x sigil of power and wisdoms and got my legendary gem. However is it possible to obtain several legendary gems or can you only get one per character? I heard somewhere that you could obtain several by just turning in more sigils, but I wanna make sure before I gem it into a normal/LFR weapon so that I dont waste my only gem on a non HC weapon :/

You can buy new gems after you have used yours for 10k from Wrathion

Yup, so any extra sigils you have, are going to sit in your bag, and be wasted! GG on blizzards part for allowing you have more than 10
