looking at getting a Intel Core i5-3570K :
is that a solid buy? and what kind of mobo do i need to look at getting for it?

currently i have a AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series vid card, AMD Phenom(tm) 9150e Quad-Core Processor.

mobo im looking at getting is: ASUS P8Z77-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Consider the ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard because it is the higher quality version of the LX mobo. If the price difference is $10 or less, I'd shoot for the LK. The LK is currently $100 after $20 promo code 20LK11211127 and $20 MIR at Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131837
