Get DDR3-1600 RAM, no reason to have 1333.

Get rid of the Seagate drive, they're very well known for being unreliable. Just get a Western Digital Caviar Blue or Caviar Black.

Get a SeaSonic PSU if you can. They're a bit pricey but almost all of them are at least Bronze certified, you'll save money in the long term.

Save yourself a few bucks and get a Lite-On optical drive instead of paying extra for the ASUS name. The only reason should should spend more than like $15 on an optical drive is if you need it to play Blu-Ray.

I'd just use Marest's sample builds and pick the one closest to your budget. They're all great.
