I would say if you're going younger...17.
Older....40+
When my grandma met my granddad, she was 18 and he was 40. They got married and had kids one year later, at 19 and 41.
Of course, that was quite a while ago, but still...
"In life, I was raised to hate the undead. Trained to destroy them. When I became Forsaken, I hated myself most of all. But now I see it is the Alliance that fosters this malice. The human kingdoms shun their former brothers and sisters because we remind them what's lurking beneath the facade of flesh. It's time to end their cycle of hatred. The Alliance deserves to fall." - Lilian Voss
Note to self, If I have a daughter don't move to Germany/Europe. Keep her FAR away from there. If dating/relations with a 13/14 year old girl is ok then it should also be ok for the father to murder the (older) boyfriend.
That's so crazy young. I didn't know laws there were so creepy/unrestraintive.
Well yeah 13 is too young imo, it's 15 here in my country, I think the average age of the sex debute is 16(sure seemed so for people around me), either way, I think the argument is that people are supposed to be physically mature enough to have sex by then. Puberty is done... or at least some pretty important changes have happend, like menstruation etc.
The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...
your age / 2 + 7 = the youngest you may date.
Lets turn it around, 21-7*2 = 28 Though, once we're talking about 25 year old or older, this "rule" doesn't really matter

Females, even mature females, change drastically in the late teens early 20s. Depending on where you live they are also in high school, living with their parents, they're still kids where you, as a 21 year old, are not(probably).
When I was a teenager I dated guys in their 20s, I think it's just creepy now that I'm older. I'm 24 and haven't wanted anything to do with teenagers in many years.
Its always above 18 no exceptions. Especially if you live in 'MURICA.

This is very true also. I once had a 17 year old try to date me, i was a college senior. I explained to her that when she is 22 she will see the difference it makes on perception. Id rather not mess with a 18 year old if shes in highschool anyway i dont want to deal with it.
I'd say if the difference is over 10 years is starts to become weird, 15 weird for sure and 20 creepy.
In your case however, anything under 16 is off-limits. Once you pass 25 anything under 18 will be off limits.
I am 21 and my girlfriend is 26. I guess it depends what age range you're both in, because a 5 year gap a few years ago for me would have been crazy.
In your case, though.. sounds okay. But there is no truly mature 17 year old.
I've seen girls who looked under age that were in their early 20s, seen girls that I thought were definitely without a doubt of age, who were 15-16 years old.
Probably running on a Pentium 4
Shes not legal, you can go to jail...and you are officially a creep.
My brother is 24 and his girlfriends 18.... and they live together.
This is such a strange way of thinking, that something magically happens in the next year to make her old enough to be in porn videos and have 50 y/o men web search for 18+ girls, but now society says that she is "legal" and no one would frown <.<
It's a way to strict line. 18 y/o dating a 17 y/o = officially a creep is basically what you are saying and that's foolish to say the least. The creep-factor is subjective and i wouldn't think he was within that range with such a small age difference and seeing she is almost at her legal age.
I once had a friend that dated a 17 year old when he was in his twenties. There was plenty of laughs and jokes about taking her to the Prom and things....good times but when she turned 18 and graduated from high school she broke up with him because she want to to "explore" the world.
To make a long story short just date someone in college and leave the high schoolers to other high schoolers because it is creepy.
Isn't it funny how times change? A hundred years ago, getting married at 16 to someone 25+ was a common occurrence. Now, if you're 20 and dating a 17 year old, you get 'EWWWWW, creepy! Pedophile!' yelled at you. When the hell did this happen, and why?
Sheeple are wonderful, aren't they?
And actually, I'm preeeetty sure the legal age of consent varies by state (in the US). Some as low as 16.
Wanna know a bunch of other things that people did 100 years ago? Because I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want a bunch of those things still happening. Don't be ignorant and call people "sheeple" just because society evolves and changes over time. It makes you look very hipster and no one likes a hipster (cept maybe other hipsters).
At 23, the thought of dating anyone under 21 is not ideal to me.
