I believe only the cannibal would find out roles of their targets (aside from what the journalist and cop uncover). The journalist wouldn't be able to role find the cannibals target though.

Ah, that would give the cannibal a bit of a benefit then. Having the role of your kill targets unknown is less great when people already don't know unless a journalist decides to investigate.
