There is no other 10m guild in the world that is anywhere near competitive for world firsts. That alone is a testament that Paragon have as players (as much "skill" an online game can take). 10m never got as much attention until Paragon downsized because of recruitment/RL issues. However, they themselves have said that 25man is where the REAL race is and where the REAL progression is. So while much congratulations are in order for them killing the boss, Method are the actual world first winners.
I don't know why people are still debating this when even Paragon players have conceded that 25m is battleground. I like watching the race and I like both guilds (mainly because they use lots of hunters), but the reality is that 25m is where the recognition is.
what you leave out here, is that Dream Paragon said those things when they were doing 25 man during wotlk and cata(not sure) when blizz assumed that 10m wouldnt have all buffs available and had bosses nerfed accordingly. This isnt true anymore due to the changes in the whole buff system, making buffs less unique and more available to more class(except perhaps the spellhaste buff which still need to be available to more classes) and blizz have tuned them accordingly, so in terms of tuning they are pretty much the same and the difficulty is balanced, some 10m encounters are harder than 25m and vice versa, but i do agree that the general concensus is that in 25m is where the prestige is which is most likely bcoz there has been no 10m guilds in the past, capable of giving any of the 25m guilds a run for their money, for me it has always been world first(any)>world first (25m)=world first (10m) and it will continue to remain so.
in any case, a huge grats to method for world first 25m, wonder if BL is cursing the hell out thanksgiving right about now?
