Is dual-wielding viable for a Brewmaster or is it a strict no-no and you should only go for two-handed weapons? or is Dual-Wielding perfectly acceptable for a Brewmaster tank? Especially one with a 446 item level?

Also is it OK to use 2 Windsong enchants on my weapons until I get an epic weapon which I will then of course add the Agility enchant to.

    Thanks.
Give them a slap for being stupid and not actually knowing anything about Brewmaster tanking.

Dual-Wield is just as good as 2handers is most cases, it just depends on how good the weapon is. A lower ilevel 2hander with bad stats is worse than 2 higher ilevel 1handers with better stats.

And windsong is perfectly fine, the procs are very nice. Dancing steel on 463 gear is a total waste.

More haste is easier maintained shuffle. Easier maintained shuffle is more free chi for purifying brew. More Purifying brew is more damage not happening to you. More haste is also more whites, more elusive brew stacks. It's not just about the extra jabs. And yes, it does make a difference.

With a 3.6 2H (3 EB per crit) I personnaly found EB stacking faster than dualwield, but that's for me and RNG is RNG. But IMO the difference is so small that you should watch what fits best with you raid gearing. If you have WW/enhsham/rogues in your raid you should probably go for a 2H. But if you are in a 10man raid with only a feralcat (or even none of these specs) go dualwield.

In MY opinion (disclaimer : this is NOT a fact, forum ragers) dps gearing should be priority for weapons. So use what is the less desired in your guild (while still being good for you of course, you don't have to sacrifice your tanking).

You sir have never played a brewmaster... It is pretty obvious for everyone who tryied that haste is the way to go for "classic" raider (of course high-end HC tank may prefere stam-mastery for realy crushing fights). For people who really play a BrM just try full haste, you'll probably never come back (or only with LOT of haste and the new ascension wich I can't yet test playing on EU. But in this tier at least I doubt it will happen)
