Dps/Healing is very potent/strong for the fight
We just need tips/solutions on how to manage the adds for the tanks
We're struggling on Phase transitions with our tank dieing to Sparks/adds spawning in Room
We occasionally throw our slows/dazes/stuns whenever possible but find our tank getting 1 shot trying to pick up the adds before platform comes back down
Any advice on how to fix this or make it go smoothly
I tank this fight as a Blood Dk, which makes it pretty faceroll with Army of the dead and Remorseless winter, but all your tanks needs to do is chaining defensive cooldowns on the adds if that's what's killing them. I personally never found myself in any danger of dying on Elegon hc while tanking the boss so chances are that they wont need their cooldowns on any other part of the fight.
You should also mark up a spot where everyone runs when the pilars are down to make it easier for the addtank to pick all the adds up by just aoeing. Your group has a ton of aoedps so make sure the adds die straight away.
We found the adds hittin extremely hard and almsot 1shotin our warrior tank thro cds also, so now we just slow/root all adds as we kill the pillars, then we all meet up at the middle (where the little console thing is), then run in together and all adds will merge together.. we then chain slow/stun/root them while ranged nuke them down and our 2 melee just go bk on the boss. The "add tank" jsut picks up any loose 1s, he can take a couple, but not like 10-15!
well as ppl said try to get the pillars down as close together as u can , if ur forst dk is up for the task ask him to agro the adds and with his howling blast he can collect em all and not get hit by them , once he drags them up to the boss use aoe freeze and just nuke them down . We did not do this but we never had a dk we just spammed the monk tanking the adds and slow stuns on them as much as we could
