Buying New Monitor Help please

So I'm buying a monitor for my new build which has an i5 3570k and Radeon HD 7870. My budget is $150 so please feel fre to recommmend. I would like to know what the good brand names are, what kind of resolution or specs I should be looking for, LED or LCD? size around 22" is fine

Most of the ASUS LED backlit 23-24" 1080p monitors are decent, just be sure it isn't a model with ghosting problems.
