Proving you're a vanilla player?

Genuine question - did they award PvP titles as feats of strength when they introduced the achive system in BC? I'm on my second account and wasn't a big PvPer so can't remember what they did

Yes, when the achievement system went live, whatever title you had (which was frozen at the rank you were when the old pvp system was replaced with the current system) earned you a Feat of Strength.

Particular feats - pvp titles, original mount feats, and the tabard from the opening of the Dark Portal event are really the only way to prove it in-game.

I'm pretty sure you could have gotten that sneakily in BC by transferring servers with unopened gates...

You could get it in Wrath as well for a short amount of time.

As for other stuff, only a few things like ash,asteish, the old epic mounts (tauren is only one i can think of), FoS PvP titles, think that is about it anymore.

That thing isn't too accurate. It says my mage, which has vanilla pvp fos, was first seen Nov 26, 10.

If you had the original unarmored epic mount and didn't trade it in when the current epic mounts because available, you got a Feat called Old School Ride when the achievement system was implemented.

You could get Atiesh in BC...can you get it now with the BMAH? (not 100% sure on that). Also not sure if you could get Ashbringer in BC when Naxx was still open

So, anything else apart from PvP FoS, Original epic mounts and BC intro event gear? (and maybe corrupted Ashbringer?)

Wrath I think.

They stopped making class mount quests necessary in BC, but you could still do them for giggles for awhile after that.
