Are they still lazy?

Why exactly would we need one? Each expac has launched with multiple raid instances and raid bosses, which should last the playerbase 6 - 8 months on average. If Blizzard releases Patch 5.2 and the next raid on March 25th, it will be just perfect because we will have had enough time for people to clear the instances on heroic, clear it on some alts, and maybe mess around with the dailies and factions and pet battles and all that. A good majority of the WoW player base (such as myself) works a full time job and has other obligations, plus they just don't want to play WoW all the time. With the amount of content we have in the game right now, it should easily last people for several more months.

I think people are just becoming ridiculous with their expectations. Have the first raid tiers been defeated by the hardcore guilds? Yes. Should we expect Blizzard to design 16 new challenging and interesting bosses every 3 - 6 months? Definitely not. If WoW becomes boring for you, take a break and play something else.

Yes.

Because despite all the complaining that the player base has done about doing dailies, what did they do? Add more dailies and call it content. They can't keep people subbed unless they manually slow down player progression. So, dailies forever instead of putting effort into designing content that the player base will actually enjoy.

Just because YOU don't enjoy it doesn't mean the masses won't.

I actually did some of the new dailies and I find them much more enjoyable than the current ones.

Oh, also you can upgrade your gear now.

Oh, and your battle pets.

Oh, and Brawler's guild.

Oh, and 3 new scenarios.

Oh, and an entire new questline for lore.

Does that satisfy you? =)

How anyone can call these fantastic zones and instances/raids laziness is beyond me. I loved the zones and the raids were done just as well.

You do know what ever you say (and whatever blizzard do) some people somewhere will drive them into the ground as being the most shit company in existence.

OT: I hope they keep it up.

I would like to see 5.2 in Feb with either 2 5-6 Boss Raids or 1 10-12 Boss Raid (I would prefer 2 5-6 Boss Raids), I really hope we don't suffer ToC sort of raid again or even worse 8 Bosses in DS for 10 Months, that might be the straw that broke my 8 year sub, at least till the next expac anyways

the only time i have been really disappointed with Blizzard was with dragon soul. it was out for so long without anything new and unlike ICC, DS was relatively easy to clear with a pug group in 1 go.

Well I apologize for that mistake, it seemed like you were implying Blizzard should be releasing major content patches within two months of an expac being released.

Haha... can't believe people think they're not lazy hahahahahaha... my sides hurt. For those saying they're not lazy, you're right... they're SUPER lazy... or maybe Ultra idk... but it's some form of laziness. And now the evidence... They failed at the end of wotlk with no new content for ages... the same thing happened again in cataclysm, not to mention the fact that their dev team is too lazy to balance the game... they act as if PvP doesn't exist and that balancing only matters around PvE (hahahaha). Don't forget to mention that when people cheat and abuse mmr... they don't reset the ladders even if a team has 24 wins and 12 losses at 2400 rating. Now lets see how they've changed the game over the last 8 years... still doing the same ol' quests of "collect that" "kill blah blah blah" "Go find blah blah blah"... You can argue all you want that they are releasing a patch this early, but it doesn't even have any raid content or pvp content... it's LORE... and guess what? You'll be doing the same exact thing that you've been doing for the last 8 years, doing quests... except there are pretty little cut scenes to making it not seem as repetitive as it truly is.

So it leads to my question... how is blizzard not lazy when they don't listen to the players, both pve and pvp... they haven't made the game feel new ever since its release... oh wow pet battles, what a drastic change... thought I was paying for an mmo-rpg with dungeons like it's advertised, not for them to think it's worthy of customers money to spend on development of a crappy knockoff of pokemon.

Here's my advice... remove all the manga/anime/pony bullcrap employees that they have and higher some actual gamers who know what to do. Yes I'm stereotyping, because it's those who like anime/manga/ponies that still play that bullcrap pokemon even if they're over 30... which is why pokemon is in the game. Blizzard needs real game developers that play every genre and know what should and shouldn't be in a game... especially an mmo-rpg... it seems to me that these current basement dwelling, hentai addicted, neckbeared losers have no idea what they're doing.

Don't act as if I'm referring to the entire company, just the dev team that's working on WoW... Either Titan has to be god tier or they need to take the devs on titan to fix up WoW, because it's headed in a direction that the old devs would consider absolute crap... And don't think they won't be quick to mention it... the lead designer of both Diablo 1 and 2 said that they screwed up the 3rd one.

If they keep it up, then they won't be lazy.
But if 5.2 is a raid and we don't see it until like June next year. Then 5.3 is the finale, and we don't see that until like Feb '14. Then 10months till the expansion, yes they are lazy.
If they can follow close behind how Trion releases content, then I'd be happy. AS LONG AS IT ISN'T DAILIES EVERY PATCH.
