I'm just gonna say it but I don't see any mention of cata or panda achievements.
I wonder why?

When I finally said no more to raiding after the first tier of cata. Because I was finally able to start having fun instead of having to deal with all the bullshit in raiding. No having to be on during said times, no having to listen to people whine about loot, no having to constantly being up to date with everything. Now I just log in when I want run a lfr if I want to do something out of the norm and log out when I want.
I don't admit to being a good PVPer or anything, but I like to think I'm at least average or maybe slightly above. (Very slightly). This happened in 4.1.
It was probably when I did an arena match with my friend, and it was the first one we did for the day (I seem to concentrate better the first few matches for some reason), and I was all over the place. Shadowstep/kicked a critical heal, managed to get a sap off a quick redirect kidney shot, and even smoke bombed the healer so my mage partner could get off an extra cast on the DPS, which landed the killshot and is something I never usually do (Usually if you're going for the DPS, you smokebomb the DPS, etc). I usually never play that good. We got our 2000 rating achievement off that match, we got like 40 points because they were 2250 rated and we were like 1960. We were stuck between 1900 and 1960~ for so very very long.
2000 isn't a very good achievement for most people but I felt pretty good.
When I got out of the DK starter area, went into Strat dead, and got Baron's mount after 3 runs on my DK :-) First DK on my server to have one, was great.
First (and only) time I took down Rag in MC in a full level 60 raid in Vanilla. Of course, I solo his pansy arse every reset now trying to get my Eye on three characters, but that first time watching him pop up out of the lava...epic.
Even though he was nerfed pretty hard already, Killing the Lich King for the first time felt so badass to me. After Cata it made me realize that PvE in wrath was amazing.
Oh, it's you. You usually make these types of comments to justify your "Vanilla and BC is better than current WoW" opinion.
Anyways, my comment actually comes from Cata and Mists.
1. In Cata, when my guild and I killed Zonozz on Heroic, pre nerf, after spending 3 weeks wiping on him, I was ecstastic. We were all screaming and happy. Literally that night we also took down Hagara and Ultraxion on Heroic and were in one of the top spots on our realm.
2. Tonight. See, a few weeks ago we were forced to kick a healer and DPS of ours because they were causing guild drama and we were scared of what was now going to happen to our guild. We recruited and have found 2 new spectacular healers (one with a bitching Shadow Spec), and an amazing Mage.
We downed Elegon the week after in 4 attempts. We downed Will in 2 attempts.
I was so happy that night because we were all having fun, joking around, like the old days WHILE making progression too.
And tonight, our first time getting serious progression mode in Heart of Fear, we downed all 3 of bosses in the first half of the instance.
So your "I wonder why?" comment is now irrelevant.
To reply:
Killing Heroic Warmaster and starting progression on Heroic Spine. It was the closest a guild I had been in had gotten to downing current content final heroic modes.
Conversely, the worst moment was probably when our guild leader got her legendary daggers and server xferred a week or so later.
Solo Healing Blood Queen Lanethal 10H.
Getting numerous rank 1s healing ICC 25H.
Getting to 2200 in arena 2s/3s.
I have 2 moments. First one was getting realms first Morchok "dosnt stand so close" achiev. and second one was when I soloed Garalon in LFR from 1.6 mil to zero, when the entire platform was covered with the yellow stuff
Mine, was probably getting Insane in the Membrane in patch 3.2 on my mage before the huge cata nerf.
Defeating LK heroic and a few months later getting invincible, tho I don't play anymore since a few weeks now.
People don't forgive, they forget. - Rust Cohle
No question about my top 3 -
1) Completing my Seal of Ascension
2) Having an addon I wrote be featured in the first released video of a 4 Horesmen kill
3) Realm first Onyxia lvl 60
After that, there's not much that I'm "proud" of. Lots of memories and neat stuff, but those really sum it up for me. It's weird, since I pretty much only play to pvp now.
The first time I killed Attumen the Huntsman back in TBC, was so happy because he was the first raid boss I killed. Plus I didn't know we had to stack so I was in the back Mind Flaying to my heart's content
Healing with half normal FL gear and part normal DS gear (2 piece Heroic DS gear), doing heroic (10m), out healing those that are gear whore...and while doing H-DW 5%, two other healer died while killing last 2 platform (jumping bug), Solo healed last 2 platform, and got the 1st kill. And till now, i still rub it in their face, "Yea, gear matters, yea", and they will rage...lolol...fun times
But sadly for MOP, gear does matter quite abit sighhh...
