Later, I kill 34 LFR boss + Sha. 34 bags of gold.

Account status: Cancelled.

If that makes you feel better, I have killed 9 bosses in HoF so far and received 3 loot + 2 tokens. I think I only used 1 coin.

RNG is RNG, He had bad luck. People in the old system went longer without good rolls.

Because random loot like that doesn't work in the casual atmosphere of LFR, any system that has the chance of giving you no character progress for 2+ months in a casual enviroment, sucks.

The chance of not getting loot from 36 bosses, assuming 15% dropchance is .2%
RNG is a bitch, and he's just unlucky.

Randomness is part of MMOs. And in case anyone has forgotten, we got JP/VP/HP/CP to get items when the RNG gods require sacrifice. That hasn't always been there.

I suppose that if Blizzard wanted to change the LFR loot system AGAIN, they'd be a bit nicer and remove the RNG part completely from LFR, although I doubt it. Too much of an integral part of MMOs, and the excitement of not knowing what you'll get. The old system had this by letting everyone see every item, but it was plagued with inappropriate Need rolls.

IF they wanted to remove the prospect of chance of loot in LFR, they'd probably do something like make every LFR boss drop a certain token, and you can buy armor for maybe 5 and weapons for 10... else they'd recieve critique for making stuff of different power (weapon > trinket > main armor piece > ring > bracer/belt) cost different amounts of tokens. Suddenly there'd be talk of the "Old New" system being better, (since in the "old new" system, all items have an equal chance when your character was rolled to recieve loot), just like people are somehow, amazingly enough, criticizing the new system for being worse than DS LFR. I guess the human brain is indeed a master of forgetting the bad.

Wee, Gurthalak to tanks, Souldrinkers to dps. Guilds rolling on items solely for the purpose of gearing a certain member. Endless loot drama.

because the same exact thing didn't happen in cataclysm, WOTLK, TBC and Vanilla right? months without seeing an item drop that you could use.. .and THEN hopeing to win the roll against other people waiting for the same item or people who the item wasn't really intended for.
