I agree, it is always a risk though. In good news with 13 days left they have already made well over $750,000. No way of knowing how much of that goes to THQ, but I'd imagine by the end of the two weeks they will have raked in a decent bit of cash. Between that and their recent restructuring, who knows what will happen?

Ubisoft bought few of their IPs last time I heard.
Its Midway all over again it seems. Sell few IPs and think that you can keep floating with few blockbuster titles. Heres hoping they will work for while..
Good games all around. Kinda shame it had to go like this tho.
So you hate all the games and tell the publisher is crap and you dont want to support them, yet you get the games cheap when they are kicked down and begging for alms?
Such anarchy and activism

There's a reason why: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/THQ#Subsidiaries
Note the number of defunct studios. You need to have studios around for a bit to get good franchises going. That being said, Dawn of War, Company of Heroes, Darksiders and Saint's Row all have respectable fan-bases. Not huge like EA or Activision games, but respectable. They just don't provide enough of a counterweight to the number of failures on THQ's part.
THQ hasn't sold any of their proper franchises yet, just their bargain bin, non core gaming studios. Ubisoft exec said he was interested in some of the THQ IP's though, so there have been rumors of potential purchases.
Being a little harsh here. Red Faction is correct.
Saints Row #3 is exceptional, like what GTA 4 could've been on PC if the developers weren't lazy.
Darksiders is a meh game full of rip-offs of various other games, but it's fun for a few hours.
Company of Heroes is like a better-balanced Dawn of War II.
Metro 2033 is poorly optimized, but I can achieve pretty respectable framerates on my ancient rig (E4300 and Radeon HD4870 512MB), so it's hardly unplayable on older systems. It's extremely pretty on systems that can really take advantage of it, and as long as you use the original Russian voices and not the awful English ones, the voice acting is also pretty good. It's also pretty fun.

I gave THQ one cent. Gave Humble Bundle my usual $1.25 as a tip, rest to charity. THQ would not be in the situation they're in if they made good products that were not bug-ridden on release.
I can only hope and pray this happens to Bethesda.

With innovation comes the occasional mistake. I'd rather they make an effort to come up with semi-original franchises rather than just play the safeball like the rest of the publishers. There's a damn good reason for that though...they lost a ton of money on a series of horrible decisions. Udraw...Homefront...yeah...about that.
wow never seen anything like this before, if my comp could run them i would snap them all up in a matter of seconds.
I bought it, even though I already own most of the games. Unfortunately I only found out afterwards I couldn't gift them, but hey! ^^
Bought with 10$.
Put it all to THQ, really hope they make it through the rough times.
There was nothing innovative in Homefront. It was a bargain-basement run of the mill "realistic" modern shooter in every sense of the word. Hell, even the general plot was stolen from Red Dawn (the 1984 flick, not the 2012 flick which probably stole its plot from Homefront, ironically.)

There was nothing innovative or original about Homefront. They tried to cash in on the dudebro modern military shooter wave and failed miserably. The game was just not good. The single player was one of the worst experiences I've had in a game, and the multiplayer was mediocre at best. Didn't help that the game barely looked like something to come out on this generation of consoles. Seriously, on PC the game looks like it should have come out in 06-07.
Well I have to say this is amazing. I don't own any of the games and it feels good helping out however I can help out
Stupid peer pressure. Gave in and bought it. Although I did give about 90% to THQ and the rest to charity. Now for some saints row fun.
