Every syllable in Korean has to have a vowel and consonant. Without the ㅇ it would be much like Fallout Boy's Thnks fr th mmrs title. It just wouldn't make much sense. Except in this case it would be a o e eoie.

Oh. That's something I wouldn't have guessed. Except that in English those letters would be pronounced while in Korean they don't. Silly grammar rules.

The only time when it doesn't is mostly in shorthand writing like ㅅㄱ, or ㅋㅋ. Those are the Korean equivalent of gg, and lol (I'm sure most of you know the latter already).

Yea, never seen the GG but seen the lol around a lot, sometime see it said as kekeke instead of using the korean symbols

ww in Korean text is ㅈㅈ, which means gg.
gg in Korean text is ㅎㅎ, which is laughing -_-

You'll see ww or ㅎㅎ appear quite often in Korean matches, all accidentally of course. Sometimes they fix it by typing gg at the end again or something.

It's short for 수* which means good job =) I haven't seen it in awhile, but I used it with some Koreans back when I was in Cali.
