Sales for a business were 3 million dollars more the second year than the first, and sales for the third year were double the sales for the second year. If sales for the third year were 38 million dollars, what were sales, in millions of dollars, for the first year?

^^^ It's shit questions like that. Not only am I not good at math, but I panic very very very very very quickly, especially because we're only given a minute per question.

That question you posted is easy to solve, you just need to break it down to what it really says:
x=y-3
y=1/2*z
z=38
What is x?

They usually try to distract you with long stories like that, while the question is actually a simple one.

Maths doesn't need comfort.

But it was youngster Maths being abused. We should do all we can to stop and prevent this abuse, so when it grows up it won't suddenly snap from the abuse and become algebra.

Oh I didn't see more maths questions! I also got 12/12. ^_^ Though I did know the answer to question 9. Since the 2 short lines are in parallel , the line connecting them means that the angle it make must be 180 degrees. 180-70=110

I forgot a lot of things. I learned math 3 levels higher than I currently get in my study.
I used to get all that stuff, now it doesn't really go any further than "you flip a coin 3 times, what's the chance for 3x heads" -_-

Oh. Well, I freak out when they tell you that you only have a minute and I just read the question and if I can't figure it out instantly, I usually just panic and answer C. I remember finishing the math section with something like 20 minutes to spare. Math was the only section of the test I got below average on, and reading was the only one that I did better than average on.
