Joyflu and wass both have acceptable name changes.
Everyone else's name change is terrible!

They said the war would escalate during MoP, not that it would be all about AvH. I think Alliance invading Orgrimmar is war enough, don't you?

I wonder where this is from. The filename suggests it happened today.
No. Just because it escalates during MoP, doesn't mean it shouldn't be present at all to start with. I don't like running around in Pandaren villages without any Horde/Alliance presence except for other players. You'd think they'd at least deploy some soldiers, but no. Go kill some vermins, find my sack of grain, collect some jade.
The only thing I saw was the Hozen vs fish people battle and the first couple of quests in the Jade Forest. And the Hozen and fish people aren't even proper Horde or Alliance. Boring. But that's my opinion, you know

LOL Like it was with the old talent systems.
I don't know about you, but I have 3 talent points I can change about on a fight by fight basis, and 2 I keep the same, but could change for preference purposes. 1 is Body and Soul and that is NEVER getting changed. Under the old system I had 2 excess points, and 3 (2 of 2 points and 1 of 1) places I could put them in. One option is now a PvP talent within the level 15 tier, one is a glyph and the other is baseline.
The new way is much superior.
And did you not see the massive fight in Jade Forest? You haven't even got to the point in Krasarang and Kun-Lai yet where you fight the other faction....
And then 5.1 story line and dailies are all about fighting the other faction. It's definitely escalating.

That's because each side is recruits to the faction cause. Horde get the Hozen and Alliance the Jinyu. I think you've skipped more than you should have. Next few quests are about picking up the pieces of that conflict. Then it settles down a bit once you unlock your faction's capital in Pandaria and you deal much more with the fallout as well as the issues the continent was having before you even arrived.
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.
Oh I also forgot. The first thing you do upon entering Pandaria is blow the crap out Alliance footholds, and eradicate them like the scum they are. At least it is for Horde.

I unsubscribed in Cata, so I can't really tell.
Nope, I started playing beyond lvl 85 a week ago, so I've only been to the Jade Forest and VO4W. And I'm bored to tears. So that could be why.
With the old system you could go different ways in the tree. Now I don't even ... It just seems to streamlined.
I saw the fight. Meh, that wasn't Horde vs Alliance. That was monkeys vs fish. And as you can see, I haven't really ventured beyond VO4W yet
I've done every single quest in the Jade Forest. And I hate the talking NPCs. It takes too long for them to shut up.
I know it's about recruiting them, but I don't really like this step-by-step questing where you have to do a lot of things to unlock the next stage. It works well in some cases, but gawd it gets annoying in the long run.
I mentioned that, but that was what? 10 quests? And then I could do the 150 about pandas and monkeys.
