Funny thing is, they're "internet tough guys", will say to you online what they won't say to your face.
I tried for 2 different contracts from 2 different vendors online, both with O2 (tesco and carphone warehouse), and they informed me O2 had declined me because of the credit check.
I walked into carphone warehouse and was sorted in no time. I got a slightly better contract than the one I'd tried for with Tesco, and got a better phone from it too >.<
