    I caught my brother mating with someone

    He mounted the female and initiated a bizarre mating ritual. I glanced upon them with fascination at first since I did not comprehend what was happening. Then I realized they were engaging in coitus. I roared in fury and charged towards them. My brother stopped fornicating once he noticed me approaching him and backed away. I roared once more and he made a submissive gesture. He, being the subordinate male had no choice but to run away in shame.

    The female was getting anxious. She tried to get up but I grabbed her and positioned her hind quarters up in the air once more. She struggled at first but I eventually forced her into submission and began copulating with her. My brother could do nothing but watch in despair as I took this mating opportunity away from him.

    What I want to know is did I follow the correct protocol in this incident?

    Wolves, actually! But I was thinking a different animal, since I don't know the mating rituals of every animal.
