I say humans top out over animals in terms of cruelty and viciousness, with a sidedose of deceit and selfrighteousness.
Even in humans who claim to do good, but in reality just do it to feel good about themselves. (such as those pink bands for breastcancer)

It might sound villainous of me, but I think such things are to be in awe of. The complexity of it all is simply amazing, even if it is unpleasant.

As for people who do good to feel good, I agree.
