[H] Cadre [10] - Twisting Nether - 1/13 HC - Recruiting: Melee DPS / Tank / Healer
Who and what is cadre?
Cadre is a tight knit semi-hardcore 10 man raiding guild on the horde side of Twisting Nether. Our ambition is to become one of the best 10 man raiding guilds in Europe for starters, and then work on becoming one of the best in the west. To achieve this, we expect all of our raiders to have the drive and motivation that is required to achieve these results while maintaining a relatively short raiding week of 3-4 raiding days.
What do we expect from our raiders?
We expect all of our raiders to:
Know your class inside and out.
Stay up to date with the latest theory craft to ensure that you know the best stat weights and caps for your role.
Be willing to change spec if required.
Have all of your gear optimally reforged, enchanted and gemmed.
Gain as much knowledge of encounters as is feasibly possible so that we do not have to explain how a fight works.
Be confident enough to make suggestions that you believe will improve our execution of encounters.
Not scumbag or cheese encounters to top metres in a way that results in mechanics becoming more difficult for the rest of us to overcome.
Be vocal on voice coms, but also know when to be quiet and not to fill voice coms with unnecessary volume.
Be reliable - our core does not change much, we'd prefer it if it did not change at all, so being somebody that is always available is a requirement.
Understand how gearing the guild and not an individual benefits the guild and our progress.
Be able to accept and utilise constructive criticism, and also be able to offer it - but don't be a flame rage whore when it happens.
Have a thirst for guild progress.
Understand how your class synergises with the rest of the team.
Understand that sometimes you may be benched for a kill, but this will only happen while we optimise our final 10 core raiders (which should not change once decided upon).
Tank specific:
Know how your class synergises best with the other tank.
Understand that your job is to reduce incoming damage and make life easier for the healers, and not risk death for the sake of gaining vengeanace to appear on damage metres.
DPS specific:
Know how your class can deal with mechanics while still executing strategy and maximising your DPS.
Not cheese to top metres by not attacking priority targets.
Understand optimal movement - if a mechanic explodes in a 10 yard radius from your starting point, moving 11 yards is better than moving 20.
Practice and work on improving your DPS as often as possible.
Healer specific:
Understand the roles of the other healers and how your healing can work optimally as part of the healer team.
Understand how your class healing works in each encounter.
What are we recruiting?
We are currently eager to recruit:
1 Melee DPS - a fury warrior would be ideal, but other classes will be seriously considered.
1 Tank - not a paladin.
1 Healer - Resto Druid / MW Monk / Resto Shaman
Ranged DPS - not a warlock, unless your can prove that you are exceptional.
* All apps are seriously considered regardless of class and spec.
You should have 12/12 normal mode experience as a minimum. Heroic experience is a bonus, and you should have as close to 515 item level as possible. Above 515 is preferable. If you do not meet these requirements, then your application will have to prove to us that you are exceptional in your role, and convince us that you are worth taking on and gearing up.
How does the application process work?
Our application consists of only 6 questions - but each question offers you the opportunity to write in-depth answers. You can choose to apply via written email or through a chat on teamspeak with our officers. The first question of the application gives you the opportunity to choose whether you apply in writing or on TS.
How long does the trial last?
The trial lasts 2 weeks, but may be extended by 1 week if we feel that you did not perform in the first 2 weeks, but have what it takes to hit point. During the trial we expect 100% attendance, excellent performance, guild activity outside of raids, being vocal with useful information during raids, and don't get angry if you are benched for a raid.
