    Monitor Upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my old monitor and curious what you all are using or what you would recommend. My spending range it around 500-1000.

I just bought a second ASUS VH242H about fifteen seconds before reading your post. They are amazing, and only cost $170...

    500-1000 what? US dollars?

What are you using at the moment and what kind of monitor do you seek? Is a fast monitor important to you or is superb image quality what you seek? 120Hz? IPS? Any other specific wishes?

Also, moving your thread over to the upgrade-help sub-forum.

    Thanks!

I'm looking for a superb quality, IPS while staying in the 1080p range. Would pretty much see all the other bells and whistles as just bonuses. Also, yes it would be US, as well. Sorry about not clarifying that a bit more.

The newly announced Dell U2413 might be of interest? It's 1200p though.

24", 1920x1200, 16:10, AH-IPS with W-LED lightning. According to Dell it's capable of 99% aRGB coverage and a 14-bit LUT (emulated). Should become available early next year for around $550-$600.

My god, this would please me. I love 1200p over 1080p, and an IPS in this size and format blows my mind. Thaaaaanks.

Edit: The U2413 appears to be on Amazon for $300. Amazing if it's the same display.

Do you want to spend a few more bucks like 600-700$ for 1600p?
