Elegon - healing range question

Hi All, wondering if anyone else has the same issue.

When the ranged and healers stack on the edge in this fight (near the power console), I cant heal the tank who is on the boss (or at least Healbot shows them as out of range).

Wondering if this is positioning issue (the tank stands roughly 12 o clock of the stacked group - should they be at 3 o clock?) or an add-on problem.

Yeah it is just a positioning issue, if you have them at 3-4 o clock like you mention you should be able to get in range. Our tanks face the breath over to the right as we are looking at the boss.

It's definitely a positioning issue. We have our tanks turning Elegon to the right (that's around 3-4 o'clock like you put it) and switching back and forth between the boss and the big add. No issues with reaching them when they're positioning Elegon like that.

Doesn't the floor have a LoS thing bound to it? Like you can only heal people on the platform if you're on the platform and you can only heal people off the platform if you're off the platform? (Platform is the glass floor thingy, whatever you call it)

Atleast that way on heroic.

Yap, have your tank turn the dragon a bit more towards you and you are good to go.

Yeah like Kikurii said have your tanks tank him 3-4 o clock then you should be in range and still be able to be right at the edge for easy reset

Aslong as its not pointing straight at the raid you shouldnt be hit by the breath

huntingbear, on heroic, yes. and if anything it makes the encounter significantly easier!
