    Simcraft questions

So I just started simming to find out stat weights etc.

First I did a sim and It had my weights somewhere around int = 4.01 and my haste 1.9 which basicly means gem full int in reds and int/haste in yellows and int/hit in blue.

But today I did another sim after gemming like that and now it says Int = 3.91 and haste = 2.02 which means it would be favourable to gem with 320 haste in yellows and 160 haste/80 int in reds

I don't know if im just stupid or im doing something very wrong with Simcraft since it's basicly the first time i'm using it.

Anyways what my point was it changes my stat weights after gemming.

    Which spec are you playing?

How much Haste (the number) do you have at the moment?
Which level 75 talent are you using?

Without "mathing" or taking too much time because I'm trying to help at work, remember this, as you approach a haste "cap" or extra tick on a dot your haste will be valued higher until you reach that breakpoint, then it will be devalued until you get closer to the next cap.

There is a threat in here that shows NT hate breakpoints, and it sounds like you may be in this semi-grey area. Look up the breakpoint thread and you should have a little enlightenment

Your armory shows you have Invocation. I believe haste is weighted more heavily for that talent. Also, make sure you are doing at least 10k iterations.

    Just to make it simple.

    1. With +80int/160haste, SimC tell intel value more than hastex2 in this gear.
    2. With +160 int, SimC tell hastex2 value more than intel in this gear.
If you change the gear (gem or enchant), you change a variable that result in a different result.

    In short,
in case 1, intel is more valuable in the gear you will loot, etc
in case 2, haste is more valuable in the gear you will lott, etc.
it's not telling to regem, it telling what will be good in addition.
