I believe when you buy a pet/mount you can choose to redeem it for yourself or gift it to others, never tried the latter myself.

As you buy it, you get three choices. Redeem right away, get the code for safe keeping or gift it to someone. Unsure what details you need to use for the gifting, but I think it was just the charecter name and server, but be careful. There's no refund or support if you grant it to the wrong person.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
