I am currently playing but my in-game time is decreasing as the the weeks go on. My current subscription expires next March and I have no plans to renew it.

There are pros and cons to this expansion. For me, the cons are outweighing the pros, hence my decision to not renew.

Maybe it's for people that spent years playing WOW, hate the direction WOW has gone in the past couple of years and cancelled their accounts cause of it but follow the game, fan-sites and released information in hopes that at some point, the game redeems itself in their eyes.

Don't waste your time with the mods here, they let WoW bashers, and whiners run rampant on these forums. If they instant locked/deleted threads like this there would be a lot less hate from people in threads.

I find it funny that anyone saying they are still subbed, or that 1k out of 10 million isn't enough data to see a trend, etc....are suddenly die-hard wow fans.

imho that term gets thrown around WAY to often.
I am still subbed personally, and at the slow rate I've been taking it I am done with 2 factions at exalted, so less dailies I'll be needing to do.
(dailies and what's below are the only two things that really annoy me, other than that i am not only content, but happy)

there are ofc ups and downs to WoW atm, one of the downs is me doing 2x overall dps on my brewmaster in random heroics
and doing top still on my feral bear wearing mostly blues still.

but that is a problem with other people, not the game itself, I do randomly get some lovely dps coming in, a rogue that pulled 78k dps on the boss that fills you with hate...to tired atm and lazy to think of or look up name, I only did 36k on that boss, the other dps..... 16 and 24k...
as a brewmaster... rogue doubled my damage and other ppl about halved mine...
(and bet you if the rogue wasn't there they would of said vengeance is OP / brewmasters OP, etc... anything but admitting they need to L2play.)

things like that upset me, but as I said...its a people problem... and I am keeping myself from using explicit terms to describe those types.

You seem to have a pretty deep hatred for people who disagree with the direction wow has taken. I have played since the near end of vanilla and while the game has made a lot of improvements there are also some pretty big changes that I don't agree with. None of which are really casual vs hardcore debate material but I find it a little odd that you are bashing others that aren't fond of the game of late. Some probably take it a bit overboard but it sounds a bit hypocritical.

While i enjoy playing wow i can understand that some people may not. They are entitled to have that opinion and ever post about it. Don't read these threads before you get an ulcer.

what made you experience so terrible and what is it you want to see changed ?

Well I'm mainly a PvP player. I did PvE occasionally for fun with a group of friends. I'm really dissapointed in PvP changes. Stampede getting past alpha and taking 1 month to fix, ridiculous warrior damage, frost bomb, instant CC, new dispel system etc. Overall PvP balance is plain terrible. There are fixes coming next patch that should've been hotfixed right away.

The new upgrade system broke my came'ls back. That was the last straw. I really hated the forced daily grind for rep/valor. I got my VPs capped once, maybe twice during the 2 months I played MoP. You can argue here that dailies are not mandatory, but for any non 'casual' player that's unfortunately not the case. Also with this new change it takes 3 months to get geared with 3.5k conquest cap. Aka you can give up on your alts, there's absolutely no point to change char mid season anymore. The gap in gear is way too big.

Also one reason why I quit was because many of my friends quit also for the same reasons I ended up quitting soon after them. MoP had great potential PvP wise, but somehow they managed to ruin pretty much everything.

I've been playing almost since vanilla release. I had my moments, I have many fun, great memories. But I think it's time to 'move on'. It's such a shame, I will miss WoW.

Meh thread is a bit pointless, poll will show nothing, same reason the walking dead (played by about 2 mil) beat mop in GOTY but 75%-25%, you're never going to get good statistics with WoW, too many people angry about they way blizzard hve gone. still subscribed still love it.

I am currently unsubbed and have not bought MOP but I just finished the 10 day trial of MOP. For me the storyline, Pet Battles, and professions were highlights of the trial. Never got to 90 to see Scenerios, Challenge Modes, Dungeons, Raids, or the endless dailies.

I think if they ever put MOP back on sale for $20.00 I might pick it up if for no better reasons than just to see the continued adventures of Rico and Kairyn.
