Patch 5.2 announcement?

Sincd 5.2 include a new raid (apparently as good as Ulduar), I doubt it would be too soon.

I don't think they are quite ready to kill T14 off yet.

When they compared to Ulduar / ICC in terms of raids they were talking about the amount of bosses in a tier. If I remember correctly it was said that the raid in 5.2 would be slightly larger than FL / DS but not as big as Ulduar / ICC, so I'd guess 10-11 bosses or so.
Also, wasn't the new Zandalari island supposed to be unlocked in 5.2? (the one that is hidden in the mists north of the islands at Townlong Steppes, atleast I seem to recall that being what was said about the northern most island that was on the map but not actually there yet)

Also the actual release of 5.2 will not be this year, definitely not. They haven't even started rolling the % buff in MSV etc so yeah, go figure (the cutting edge achievements indicates that there'll be gradual nerfs to those dungeons aswell incase anyone wondered where I "got that from").

Although an announcement would be nice I guess, but it's still gonna be months off. Probably Feb or march at best that we'll see a release.

Blizzard has repeatedly said that a rough estimate for the patch cycle would be a patch every 2 months with a raid every 4. So far, 5.1 is right on track for this schedule, coming at the end of november. So a rough estimate for 5.2 would be somewhere between the end of jan to the end of feb, which is roughly 4-5 months since launch. So I can see 5.2 launching no later than the end of feb. That's why an announcement should be very soon so that ptr testing can start.

Yes that is a long maintenance, however 5.2 has not even hit the PTR or anything yet so the duration of the maintenance service is unrelated to the release/announcement of 5.2

Warlock quest is supposed to come then, but who knows perhaps they push it back again.
I honestly wouldn't mind if it took a while still for another patch, would like to get some other things done before they launch even more content.
