Lord of the Rings is the best hands down, all 3 movies are some of the best I've seen in my whole life.

I think for me lord of the rings tops all, I've watched the entire trilogy over and over a good 40+ times and I don't know how but the Return of the King makes me tear up for a good 30 minutes every single time, I've never had such a weird indescribable feeling (happiness / sadness mixed together I guess) after watching a movie(s) nor have I ever felt so emotionally connected.

For me, in no particular order, Evil Dead - The Godfather - Hannibal (Red Dragon - Hannibal - Silence of the Lambs) and Nolan's Batman.

Never liked LotR, Matrix etc.
