im playing a dps monk & am gradually getting closer to the 3k limit. i dont do dailies as im not interested in rep or the items that come with getting to revered & i have no intention of raiding (except for LFR, where i get nothing anyway). so what can i do with 3000 valors? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

use the item upgrade npc, near the transmorg/reforge npcs.
you can upgrade epic items by 4 item levels for every 750 valor points spent upto a maximum of 8 item levels.

upgrade the rep/lfr items you do get using VP. you can just boost the ilvl of the stuff you have instead of getting new valor gear

Yeah dude I pretty much just use valor to upgrade the tier pieces I get from Sha of Depression.
