    Gaming Laptop Advice

So, I'm looking at picking up a new laptop to use as a desktop replacement. I like the portability and the option to play games on the go, or being able to hook it up to what i call my "docking station" and use it as I would a desktop. My dilema is, which one to buy, and what the reliability of the manufacturers are.

I'm looking for something that can run most games with at least medium settings and hit 60 fps.

The top contenders from some of my research have been:

    MSI GT70-0NE

Alienware m17x configured to around the same specs as the MSI,

I've been dabbling with the idea of the "New Razer Blade" overpriced and underpowered as it is, the portability seems great,

And the Samsung Series 7 Gamer

I've also checked out laptops by "Ibuypower" and Sager but im not sure what to think of them, because im quite unfamiliar with the brands.

While cheaper is certainly preferable, my top end would be ~2500 for a laptop. What have you guys bought in the past, whats worked well, and whats broken down almost immediately?

    Thanks for the help!

Same version but with 3D monitor:

Same version but with no SSD:

ASUS has always made pretty good laptops and I know a lot of people here tend to recommend them
