Christmas WoW gift

Following on from this blue post http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/2...t-of-warcraft/ which has WoW + TBC + WOTLK for peanuts, can anyone tell me whether if I buy this it will start the 1 month game time from the time I purchase it? As I need to make a battle net account to download it, but dont necessarily want the game time to start immediately.

as i remember, as soon you activate the game key the free month will start

It's as Editos says, the 30 day free game time won't start unless you activate the game key, so you can buy it now and give it away for Christmas without worries.

It is quite annoying,i remember back in 2006 i had a weeks free trial to BC before i purchased it and because my computer was so slow back then i spent 2 days downloading the game,so in all reality i only got 5 out of the 7 days given...
