So guys!
im looking for a 2handed axe to go along with my transmog motif: http://i.imgur.com/o62e4.jpg
as you can see its very white/gold and im looking for advice/tips/ideas for a 2 handed axe to mog over it! any help is appreciated!

Honestly, go to wowhead.com and search for weapons. They're changing the options to include moer ways to xmog so i'd either suggest looking for you you like or waiting to see if they'll really be doing the 2h axe/sword/mace set up.

I would almost say... http://www.wowhead.com/item=25762#screenshots Only because it's bad-a$$, and it's hard to match a good axe for that particular set without it looking plain.

You picked a hell of a colour-scheme to try and match up to...
At least 5.2 is aiming to allow transmog across same attack animations (so, 2H Sword, Mace, and Axe are interchangable).
Looking through the list, not much I can find that fits well in the Axe department.Games are not necessarily "easier" today. You are just a better player.
It takes more now to impress many gamers than it did 2-5 years ago, because so much has already been seen and done.
Many players expect to be wow'd with every release of a beloved franchise.
These are generally NOT the fault of the developers, but the fault of many players over-hyping and/or setting expectations too high.

Get the addon called MogIt on Curse (http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/mogit). It adds a button to your minimap with gives you a full gallery and dressing room of every transmogable item in the game divided by item type, tells you mostly where to get them and sometimes if there are others of the same exact model, lets you preview them with your gear, allows you to build templates, etc.
That being said, I quickly found these axes that I think would possibly look good for your white/gold look:
