    effective health pool. ie after taking into account resists etc how much health you would need to have to survive with 0 resists

    Because people cheat the list by buffing themselves to get their damage to appear in their "armory", and classes like demon hunters have an easier job doing so.

    Cause 95% of the monks and barbs will be using shields instead of dual wielding and need a lot more defensive stats than a wizard/dh/wd, therefor greatly gimping their dps.

    You know, he was quite specific about unbuffed DPS, you should read more carefully.

    @Toxigen: well, as far as the "overall" score is concerned there are enough barbs, so for HC they'll most likely go for survival, vit gems instead of str for example.

    diablo progress doesnt care if you're buffed Butler Log, it removes all buffs and passives you have upon logout on your profile and calculates your dps totally unbuffed based on your stats and gear.
