[BALANCE] Seem to be doing low dps..

If you are unsure about your DPS you are better of studying those EJ and MMO guides. iLevel is not a good way to measure dps up to. Ilevel represents a range of dps (x - y) and x and y could very well be 10k dps appart on a dummy even. So you cant draw any conclusion out of those dummy numbers unless you are miles behind, and if that is the case then you should go study those guides as I said. I understand the demand for a decent benchmark and even though WrathCalcs and SimCraft are tad off they will still give you a better indication then ilevel=>dummyDPS. Simulate your char self buffed and you get a decent impression of what you should approximaty be able to do. SimCraft is actually close to spot on for me, have to double your starfall dps obviously and imagine a weapon and trinket upgrade onto that dps and its pretty close.

And yes you need to DPS a dummy longer then a few minutes to generate a number or a log that you can actually work with. Especially since our DPS is so crit based, it could be all over the place on a 6 minute fight, like those people that claim to do 67k dps on a dummy wearing ilevel 485!

Dnt wry about dummy damage a lot , in raids your damage will be much much better , youre prob missing 8% debuff , crit buff , int buff all of which increase our dmg quite significatly ,also if your hitting >1 dummy and you have 2 set your starfall will prob be #1 or #2 on dmg which aint true in on 5min+ single target boss.
Ilvl 497 dummy shrine of moons i had around 90k dps over 6 minutes 2 sets of cds , yesterday on imperial which has quite a bit of movement involved i was at 105k dps before i got converted on <10% hp on boss sucks i know and ended the fight at 96k used 2 sets of cds.

Boomkins are doing fine , ive been playing boomkin since start of cata and im happy with how were doing atm reminds me of t11.

Can you link your armory? I'm curious to see how you did it. Not calling bs, but I can't hit numbers even close to that and I have 495 gear. I definitely know it is an l2p issue for me, so I'd love to analyze your world of logs to help solve my problem.

When did you use your CDs, at the pull or at 3 and 6mins? How much damage did you do? These are both vital points, saying you used 2 sets of CDs, and what DPS you did is totally irrelevant.

Example: if you did say 50k dps, pop'd your second set of CDs climbed to 90k and then stopped. That would read as 2 sets of CDs, over 6mins, with 90K dps, which isn't close to the damage you would do with 90k sustained DPS over a 6minute fight.

Having done this myself only yesterday with similar item level, unless you were fully buffed (not just moonkin aura and MOTW) I'd be astounded to think you did 15k more DPS than I did in identical settings.

Just like a normal fight man , prepot + cds , then again at 3min stopped when inc was up again.Only had motw on me.
