Dark Bargain Bugged?

As the title imposes, I've found something extremely off when using dark bargain while doing rbgs today, ,like 3 peeps swap and focus me, I pop dark bargain at 50% hp, it goes on cd, I notice dark bargain is NOT showing the sphere / skull animation that it usually, 2 secs later I'm dead.

Now either there's a trick to dispelling it, or there's a bug that has manifested or passed under the radar for a while.

Anyone shared similar problems with this ?

There might be a health limit to it, like with many other similar death prevention or "unlimited" absorption mechanics.

I've never tried, but Shattering Throw or Shattering Blow might break it. The second one being instant is impossible to even see coming.

It's one of the only things that can survive Garalon's enrage crash on HC, I doubt there's a health limit (immunities don't work ).

it can be removed by shattering throw unlike sac pact as far as i know
