Looking for computer parts for my next computer!

Hello, so i am building a computer this summer (winter i guess for US) after mine is turned to shit within the last few months so i am looking for a big upgrade. I am building it myself with a mate whos helping me but i need to start planning what to put in it..

I am looking parts that will play games on ultra settings and also i will be doing a bit of livestreaming and video making (while playing world of warcraft) so i need some pretty good parts. My current computer can't handle new games that come out because of how old it is. I need pretty much everything apart from a case and monitor. I am wanting watercooling iswell..

My budget is 4000 NZ dollar ($3356 USD) can go up a bit higher if needed.

So you guys able to help me out? I really don't know much about computers thats why my mate is helping me build it. But i just need to get the parts ready.. I know what is needed but not sure if certain parts can only run with different certain parts if that makes sence..

If you need to know anything else let me know and i'll reply.

    Thanks guys

    3356 is way too much.

    http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...-Sample-Builds Look here, down at

    Gaming 1620
    MoBo: ASUS Sabertooth Z77 – $239.99 Review
    CPU: Intel i5 3570k – $229.99
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 1600Mhz 4x4GB – $77.99
    GPU: ASUS DCII 7970 – $434.99
    SSD: Samsung 830 256GB – $169.99
    HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB – $109.99
    PSU: Corsair TX650M – $89.99 Review
    Heatsink: Noctua NH-U12P – $71.99
    Case: Corsair 650D – $189.99 Review
    --------------------------------------------------
    Estimated Total Price – $1615

Only changes would be, change that Samsung 830 for the 840, nothing big, just new technology is generally better, and if you really wanna spend money, change that 7970 to a GTX 690.

    The general idea is:

    i5 3570K

Any Z77 motherboard that fits your needs can do it, i mean how many Sata 3 HDD's you are gonna buy, which one is best for overclocking, the one in the sample build is good, but there are better afaik, search around yourself a bit, or ask your friend to search for you on the Mobo part.

8GB or 16GB of Corsair Vengeance at as low timings you can find.

A SSD with enough space, like 256GB, like a Vertex 4, Samsung 840 Crucial M4.
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB for Storage, they are really good for everything but they arent SSD's either way, fast storage is good!

And the GPU part which costs the most money, you have the money to spare so you could always add a GTX 690 in the above build and you are covered, now if you really wanna spend money you can always use his build below at 2600$ dollars.

    Extreme Gaming 2700
    MoBo: ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe – $279.99 Review
    CPU: Intel i7 3770k – $329.99
    RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x4GB – $164.99
    GPU1: EVGA Superclocked GTX 680 – $469.99
    GPU2: EVGA Superclocked GTX 680 – $469.99
    SSD: Samsung 830 256GB – $169.99
    HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB – $109.99
    PSU: Corsair AX850 – $189.99
    Heatsink: Corsair H100 – $114.99
    Case: Corsair 800D – $274.99 Review
    --------------------------------------------------
    Estimated Total Price – $2575

I would remove the 2 GTX 680's and get a 690, i know a 690 isnt as strong as those but SLI tends to have issues with newer games for a few months so i generally dont like them and once again, change that Samsung for a 840 instead of 830 one and you are set.

Also for both of them, get whatever full case you wanna look at, dont just get the ones linked, they might not even be available for you.

My case that i got already is http://www.raidmax.com/chassis/seiran.html

For example if i went with Extreme Gaming 2700 on that sample builds page.. would everthing fit in it? How do i know if the mobo etc will all go in right?

Low timings is not always king for RAM, sometimes and more often than not lately, there has been an advantage to higher clock. Still, for that budget you can get a much better MB that will let you clock your RAM to your desired clock speed.

Parts I would definitely pick if I was to build something now:

Asus Maximus V Formula or Extreme Z77 MB
    i5 3570K or i7 3770K
    Corsair H100
Corsair AX 650W or more (The AX part is important due to them being 100% modular, allowing you to get very nice cable management.)
    Corsair Dominator Platinum 2ghz+ RAM
    Samsung 830 256GB x2 in raid 0
GTX690 or 7990 once it becomes available (If you dont feel like SLI/CF, the 7970GHZ or GTX680 are both excellent single gpu's)
A big nice case like the temjin11
