    The damage isn't exactly the same. It's 4320 a stack in 10 and 6900 a stack in 25 http://www.wowhead.com/spell=123705.

We didn't find the fight a joke mostly due to the tank damage, definitely harder than the first 8 fights we did, Heroic Will probably harder though.

Yeah looking back the only fights that took more attempts than Lei Shi on H25 for us were Spirit Kings and Will and we're 10/16H. We're getting close on Amber-Shaper in a lot less tries. Different guilds struggle with different things I guess.

Lei shi is a "performance" encounter more so than it is a "gearcheck", which means that most guilds who went at it the first few weeks found it alot easier than many other fights due to the fact that they didn't need gear, just skill to beat it (and if they were on lei shi that early, skill was a non-issue).
Nowadays, Lei shi is still "harder" than alot of other fights, but it's all down to your two tanks and stackers if the encounter becomes faceroll or not. If your tanks aren't optimising around a purely magic-damage fight (spell dmg reduc instead of armor increase meta, specs/ability usage that focuses on magic dmg rather than physical), and your stackers aren't keeping the dmg increase up on lei shi 99% of the time, the fight gets alot harder, and suddenly becomes a gear AND "skill"-check.
Paladins with their hand of purity simplifies the encounter alot (25 sec cd on a 70% dmg reduc for 6 seconds on the stackers, works wonders in Get Away phase), and so does any monk in the last 20% - roll out of the raid, taunt boss with their OP-90% magic dmg reduc, and let tanks get a breather while you get tickled by her attacks.

This is all good information, thank you guys. Kings and Will HC were most learning intensive fights so far for our guild as well and we are on 9/16 with the Ambershaper Kill being very close. How about the top Heal Setup, what would you recommend there? Does a second Disci make Sense for Tankhealing and insane op Spiritshell? Whcih Healclasses would you bring if you could choose freely?

Who should stack the debuff and how many stacks will do?
You should let your fire mage + bm hunter do the stacks. And resetting at 13-14 should be enough.

You can let your tank tank the adds outside so that the people with debuff can debuff it while gaining more stacks.

Spirit Shell is amazing for Get Away. Paladins are great for this fight in general.

We were 6-healing for a while and switched to 7-healing and killed it very quickly. Using 2 Shamans, 2 Paladins, 2 Disc, 1 Druid.

Just a note for a slightly different 10 man strat - You can use 3 tanks.

    We did:

    Tanks: Prot Warr, Blood DK
    Healers: Hpally, Rshammy, Rdruid
DPS: Mage, Lock, Feral, Hance, Blood DK

Lock and DPS blood DK took stacks to ~10 and 20 respectively. The DK can do a ton of self healing and dps with icy touch, death siphon and death coil. The DK tank sits outside whole fight using ranged abilities and the lock goes in for minor specials. When adds spawn the DK tank tanks them on the edge of the ring so it will be debuffed and die really fast.

The DPS blood dk will still do competitive dps due to vengeance and debuffs.
The lock builds up stacks and does the first get away. After that the DK does every get away.

Running out with ~15 secs left on your debuff is a good time to refresh, you've just gotta watch your special timers because a bad timed hide can screw you over.

So I got two more questions:

    1. does anyone have a reliable weakaura (or other tool that does the job) to track the scary fog stacks on Lei Shi?

    2. would the appropriate scary fog stacks to boss applying order be something like: both locks stack to 5, first goes in (shortly after first special). Stays in as long as he can without loosing his stack then switch. Dk Tank keeps stacking all the time, applies and kills protector with it and ONLY applies 20 stack on boss in 40% nuke phase? The locks do have to drop their stacks if starting to go above 15, correct? Any clarification on the exact switching approach of 25 mans doin the 2 stacker and 1 tank stacker strat are much appreciated.

    Our method is :
random 1 stack on boss on pull
player 1 2 and a random start stacking, player 3 waits.
random player stacks to 3 and stacks boss
player 1 stacks to 6 and stacks on boss, player 3 starts stacking
from here on player 1 2 and 3 (Starting with player 2) stacks to 12 and then stakcs on boss, if done right you should always have a player at 12 stacks, one at 6 and the other at 0

one player can bee cheeky and restack for last add wave + lust.
