I was looking forward to seeing this guy again and continuing his story line in later patches but so far there's been no mention of him in-game or out. Didn't they say he'd be making appearances throughout the expansion when questioned on this in 5.0.4/5?

Vol'jin thing mostly. Though there has been a new story following LiLi after making it to the vale of eternal blossom.. i think.

Based on what happens in 5.2 we may see him involved there. Since it seems he's kind of a part-time Shado'pan now.
