Hi, I'm having trouble finding the bits in the log to show the damage done to Zian when the shield blew up, I'm using the log browser, but I can't find anything that's related to the spell ID of 117701, the spell ID of Darkness, which is what we took damage from as shown on the log and via WoWHead.
Can anyone help out?

Wrong shield sorry, I'm referring to Zian, Shadow guy's shield, the one that blows up the whole raid.

Show events where spell is Shield of Darkness (remove, copy)
Show events where event type is Hit and target is Zian of the Endless Shadow (remove, copy)
Then search the result window for "Shield of Darkness" and look who hits him after gaining the power. Will look like this:

This also shows in chat, atleast for me.
It shows who breaks the shield from shadowguy + the shield from first guy.
Same for Wind Bombs, Garalon Purple circle etc etc.
It says
XXX breaks Shield Of Darkness

Shows as an emote in chat, both for Zions shield and the thing Qiang does, easier than scouring logs as you can just call people out instantly if that's what you want to do.

We had some issues on our kill a few weeks ago from a Hunter Pet. Suggest /petpassive before the shield just to make sure.

Also FYI Glyph of Purge works on the shield (as it has 3 stacks). So we have our SP pre-cast MD to land just as the shield comes up and I Purge, meaning it is removed instantly.

that is most likely using abilities like kill command etc, i can imagine a pet just auto attacking wouldn't do it, but the hunter personally pressing keybinds to make the pet do attacks could set off their shield as that is not really stopping dps, just because its not an arrow you're still attempting to dps it :P Originally Posted by Amex
