Some people collect tips when they drop it. There's an engi on my server that always drops his and does a "/2 Bling down in VoS!" And I always give him 20g everytime I use his
Why the long face wilber?
I drop mine in the inn, then relog to all my other toons, I guess it adds up over the 11 toons fast if I am honest. except when they added the party feature it sort of broke it...I wasn't able to relog to all and get pressies for a while, haven;t tried since to see if fixed....but yah, the mount can drop, and I often get the 99g grey items. rng is rng OP, welcome to the dice hate me club

Proof that the mmochamp community can be a bitter and lonely place. What a shame.
How did it cost 4k to make? I made mine for like....free. I cant think of any mats for the thing that cost that much.
Living steels? Atleast on my server they used to be close to 1k each during first few weeks.
Gotta say, I never thought I would see an Engineer bring this up. I expect it from Enchanters but not from an Engineer. It cost me 1500 to make my Blingtron (I had most of the mats on me) and within a month, I made that back. I had a few of the 200g selling items. Plus, we get to look snazzy for an hour after talking to him. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?!?!?!? Look at it this way... A good chunk of our Engineering items fail. Take the rocket boots for example... They fail all the freaking time for me. You can think of the Blingtron not giving the Engineer any extra perks as an extension of that. We didn't program him well enough. Besides, who cares if other people benefit from it just as much as the maker does. He is a fun thing to have and think of how excited you will be when something of value comes from him.
Also, about the enchanting thing... I have found a new way to abuse that. Well, it's new to me... Just the other day. I was in a party with a chanter. He was in Kara and I was out at Dominion Point killing things. A couple of greens dropped and I got to DE them because he was in the group. I love it. Saves me time and makes me giggle all at once.

For example. The Living Steel was 400ish on my server and I didn't have any nor a way to make it at the time... If you have no access to the mats yourself and your server economy is like ours... It's easily that much to make it.
Wargen/warrior/engineer/blacksmith, the thought alone makes my mouth water.
Might not be the most profitable profession but just their is a ton of very useful self perks that in my mind makes it the best profession hands down.

Ah, yea I suppose if you rushed to make one in the first week or two living steel could have been pricey. I have an alchemist and I make living steel every day. I've actually had several 5 procs (soooo lucky) so I usually have 8-10 bars on me.
