wish they didn't make a post about the Enigma Seed change..........now everyone will be doing it and Golden Lotus is going to tank or Blizzard will nerf it sooner than later
To clarify, I was using pre 5.1 numbers. I was unaware that they increased the GL drop rate with the Enigma Seeds. If you are going for Golden Lotus, I would say they would be more efficient to plant. However, Spirits are still "worth" more. (Worth being subjective based on server economy and professions)
I always find myself shaking my head when I see that question. News flash to those who didn't bother reading the ToU: It is not yours to sell since you don't own it.Originally Posted by Blizzard Entertainment

Not really the case, the game sold over 2 million copies in the first few week. It also has around 50 servers, not "a few". It's smaller then WoW, but that doesn't mean it's some itty-bitty community.
It is true that Anet employ are in game sometimes to talk to, I've talked with one myself which was quiet nice.
Except that's just your random guess on the games states. There's no numbers supporting that claim. In fact the recent discussions on guru have been showing the opposite to be true.
Wow so read article on bots in GW2. I'll admit I do not play GW2 but it seems they are taking a proactive stance on bots. I like the part where they said they have GM's monitoring 24 hours/day. One thing I have not seem that blizz ever does. I mean how hard it is for Blizz to monitor BG's during highest activity of bots, you know at nights.
Brute force against bots seriously limit their chance of experimenting new ways to fool GMs. Blizzard should try this approach for some months and see how their frustration grows.
Could you define "brute force" in this context? Because that would usually mean immediately banning any account suspected of botting immediately and then awaiting an appeal from the player. Which, obviously, leads to getting "troll banned" because a few people specifically targeted a single person and decided to report them separately at various intervals just to be funny and get a power high from it. Wait a few days. Pick a new target, repeat.
good. they need to tank. on my server lotus's are going for between 120g and 150g each. making transmuting uncommon gems into rares completely worthless as for example a cut primordial ruby goes for 50g on the low end to just over 100g max. it is ridiculous that a mat required to make something is more expensive than the item that it is used to make.
There are protocols to test for bots, and very feel are well prepared to avoid detection, specially because they need a Human watching for GM interactions.
The number of botters that can avoid detection is ridiculously low, and usually escaping a detection, and hence the ban, cost them a couple of hours in which they stop botting, to waste the GMs off.
And sorry dude, but the only dispute they can have is to say their account was "stolen", to which Blizzard already have a weeks to months long analysis of the case.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
why not add a stacking "dishonorable Kill" debuff that is applied whenever you kill someone drastically below your level.
a) this is war, do you think an officier wouldnt should a mere soldier if he meets him on the battlefield?
b) play on a pve server.
seriously, shit happens, this aint your friendly pve environment, because YOU CHOSE not to be there.
next point plz
I am getting on average between 4 and 5 a day per plot of 16.
Your also leaving out you do get other herbs as well are you not?
Golden Lotus are almost exclusively what I use farming for, as I can make flasks (which I now have more herbs for!) or xmute gems for the retarded JC daily.
You haven't been to guru if you think people are optimistic there lately....
And an individuals experience in game is rarely reflective of the reality of the situation. Especially considering one of the big problems in GW2 atm is the culling, where you can't see all the players on your screen.
